Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Threading.
Most Threading eyebrow appointments take about 10 to 20 minutes, depending on brow density and desired shaping. First-time clients may require extra consultation and mapping to create a balanced, customized brow design before the actual threading begins.
Threading can cause mild pinching or stinging, but most clients find it tolerable. Our technicians use gentle techniques and short sessions to minimize discomfort. Applying soothing aloe or cooling gel afterward helps reduce redness and calms sensitive skin quickly.
Regrowth varies but typically appears in 2 to 6 weeks. Factors include hair growth cycle, hormones, and individual genetics. Regular Threading can weaken follicles over time, often leading to finer regrowth and longer intervals between appointments.
Threading can shape tinted brows safely, but proceed cautiously with microbladed brows. Avoid threading directly over fresh microblading until fully healed (typically 4–8 weeks). Inform your technician about any treatments so they can adjust pressure and technique accordingly.
No extensive prep required. Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows. Avoid waxing or plucking for at least two weeks so hair is long enough for threading. Disclose medications like Accutane or recent chemical peels, as they can increase skin sensitivity.
Avoid heavy makeup, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Apply a cool compress or aloe vera to soothe redness. Refrain from exfoliating or using retinoids on the brow area for several days to prevent irritation and promote healing.
